Studies show that at least 85% of the world’s people suffer from some degree of lacking self-esteem:

-people with low self-esteem never make eye contact
-they don’t talk to strangers
-they don’t smile much
-they tend to do what is convenient rather than what will lead to the results they hope for
-they never call their sponsor because they think they are not worthy
-they may feel socially challenged and have difficulty establishing close or intimate relationships
-they may not be having fun in their lives
-tend to avoid consistency and persistency required to be successful in this business
-their self-doubt kills their attractiveness as a business partner and sponsor

This is a big part of my personal journey and critical that I successfully put this issue behind me.
So the question is what can we do to help our self-esteem?

The message of hope is that no one needs to settle for failure and a dimmed existence due to the lack of a sense of self-worth.

You are the center of the universe as you look out from your particular perspective. Forget being unworthy.

The process starts with healing one’s past so that it no longer robs us of energy and consumes our attention. We can choose the thoughts and messages we accept or reject. Stop believing the inner chatter in your head. It’s rubbish, a lie, and merely an illusion. No one can make you feel inferior without your permission. Stop the self abuse!

If you are willing to look in the mirror and look into your eyes and start loving yourself your self- esteem will improve.

Write lists of things you adore about yourself and others and practice the Art of Appreciation 24/7.

Avoid perfectionism as it paralyzes you and keeps you from accomplishing your goals.
You don’t need to be perfect to reflect the divinity that’s within you.

When you take action, regardless of the result – you feel better about yourself.

Most importantly, be kind to yourself.

10 Things Authentic Leaders Do

by Ron Greenberg on March 27, 2010

By Robin Sharma -  www.neuro-linguistics.net

What would your life look like if you had absolutely no fear?

What kinds of things would you do if you lived from a frame of reference that your thoughts literally could form your world?

How brightly would your light shine if you stepped out of the limitations that are keeping you
small and stretched yourself well past your comfort zone into the place that you know, deep
within, you are meant to be?

Authentic leadership is all about being the person you know in
your heart you have always been destined to be. Authentic leadership does not come from
your title or from the size of your paycheck. Instead, this form of leadership comes from your
being and the person that you are.

Here are 10 things that authentic leaders do on a regular basis:

1. They speak their truth. In business today, we frequently ’swallow our truth’. We say things to
please others and to look good in front of The Crowd. Authentic leaders are different. They
consistently talk truth. They would never betray themselves by using words that are not
aligned with who they are. This does not give anyone a license to say things that are hurtful to
people. Speaking truth is simply about being clear, being honest and being authentic.

2. They lead from the heart. Business is about people. Leadership is about people. The best
leaders wear their hearts on their sleeves and are not afraid to show their vulnerability. They
genuinely care about other people and spend their days developing the people around
them. They are like the sun: the sun gives away all it has to the plants and the trees. But in
return, the plants and the trees always grow toward the sun.

3. They have rich moral fiber. Who you are speaks far more loudly than anything you could ever say. Strength of character is true power – and people can feel it a mile away. Authentic leaders work on their character. They walk their talk and are aligned with their core values. They are noble and good. And in
doing so, people trust, respect and listen to them.

4. They are courageous. It takes a lot of courage to go against the crowd. It takes a lot of
courage to be a visionary. It takes a lot of inner strength to do what you think is right even
though it may not be easy. We live in a world where so many people walk the path of least
resistance. Authentic leadership is all about taking the road less traveled and doing not what
is easy, but what is right.

5. They build teams and create communities. One of the primary things that people are
looking for in their work experience is a sense of community. In the old days, we got our
community from where we lived. We would have block parties and street picnics. In the new
age of work, employees seek their sense of community and connection from the workplace.
Authentic leaders create workplaces that foster human linkages and lasting friendships.

6. They deepen themselves. The job of the leader is to go deep. Authentic leaders know themselves intimately. They nurture a strong self-relationship. They know their weaknesses and play to their strengths. And they always spend a lot of time transcending their fears.

7. They are dreamers. Einstein said that “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” It is from our imaginations that great things are born. Authentic leaders dare to dream impossible dreams. They see what everyone else sees and then dream up new possibilities. They spend a lot of time with their eyes closed creating blueprints and fantasies that lead to better products, better services, better workplaces and deeper value. How often do you close your eyes and dream?

8. They care for themselves. Taking care of your physical dimension is a sign of self-respect.
You can’t do great things at work if you don’t feel good. Authentic leaders eat well, exercise
and care for the temples that are their bodies. They spend time in nature, drink plenty of
water and get regular massages so that, physically, they are operating at planet-class levels
of performance.

9. They commit to excellence rather than perfection. No human being is perfect. Every single
one of us is a work in progress. Authentic leaders commit themselves to excellence in
everything that they do. They are constantly pushing the envelope and raising their
standards. They do not seek perfection and have the wisdom to know the difference. What
would your life look like if you raised your standards well beyond what anyone could ever
imagine of you?

10. They leave a legacy. To live in the hearts of the people around you is to never die.
Success is wonderful but significance is even better. You were made to contribute and to
leave a mark on the people around you. In failing to live from this frame of reference, you
betray yourself.
Authentic leaders are constantly building their legacies by adding deep value to everyone
that they deal with and leaving the world a better place in the process.

To your success,

It’s Just Simple Mathematics

March 12, 2010

Before anything else, you must put yourself in the best possible position to achieve MLM success.

In network marketing, how do we make our money? Well, we make our money based on people using our products or services, right? And the more people we have using our products or services the more money we make.

But the key to understanding the compensation plan is knowing how many people you will need in your downline to make that income that you’d like to make.

Ask yourself…How much do you make per distributor? and divide that into your desired monthly income. That will tell you how many people you need to make that amount of money each month. Then ask yourself….Is this do-able for me? and how long will it take me? You just may be surprised at the answers you get!

Here’s an example. Let’s take a round figure – let’s say $5.000. a month. So ask yourself, in this business how many people do I need actively ordering the product every month to make $5,000. a month?

Most people just hear that someone in the upline is making $10,000, $20,000 or more a month and they think they can do the same thing.

Well the reality of this business today, if you average it all out you’ll realize that for an individual to achieve $5,000. a month they have to have a team of about 1,000 to 1,500 people actively ordering product every single month.

How likely is that to happen for most people?

Now,imagine this – On account of this information I was able to align myself with a business where I need less than 200 people to make $5,000.

Whose got a better chance of success? Somebody who needs 1,000 to 1,500 people or me who needs less than 200 people?

So I have to ask you; “Would you accept a job and work for months and not know how much you got paid?” Obviously you wouldn’t do that, so would it be okay if you learned how to crunch the numbers on any compensation plan, including your own?

If you have not yet reviewed your compensation plan and fully understand, I recommend that you do so NOW so you can easily determine if the business is worthwhile or if it’s really just a waste of your time.

If you don’t understand let me know and I will review it for you. It’s time to get educated

Red Flags Ahead? – Let’s Look At The Facts!

March 5, 2010

My personal belief about this business is that if people don’t have truthful accurate information, can their lack of success even really be their fault?

Learn what you need to know BEFORE you enter into a partnership with ANY company.

For example – Have you read your companies’ policies and procedures?

That would be something very important to do.  Here’s why. Imagine your reading your policies and procedures and you come across a clause that says the company can terminate you any time for any reason. What is that clause really telling you? What that clause is telling you is that it all can be taken away from you at any time. It is telling you that you might be building it for nothing.

Alot of people say, ” Oh, I know this company, and they would never do that to me”.
Really?

If that’s the case then why is it even in the contract to begin with?

Another clause to really be careful with is “annual renewal”. If you have to pay an annual renewal fee as part of the program, that means that you’ve got a one year contract with the company. So, that being the case, what can potentially happen at the end of the contract? It can be terminated by either party.

Alot of people read the contract but don’t really understand what they’re reading or say it’s too long to read or say, “well, it’s just standard stuff”. They just don’t really accept it.

When I became educated I saw that I can make a choice that will be in my interest, not just the company’s.

The 3rd clause to beware of is “on-going obligations”.
Do you have any on-going obligations in your contract?

This is going to require some homework on your part to really understand this properly.

So, pull out your policies and procedures and take the time to read it! If you do have these type of clauses, then you have to make a choice. You might be in a very good business, but the only way you can determine that is if you look at the information. If we look at the facts.

If there is no contract and they don’t have any policies and procedures, then 99% it’s probably an illegal pyramid scheme.
All I can say is , Lets look at the facts.

You should easily be able to find the policies and procedures on the company’s main website. If it is not available on the company’s main website that certainly raises a red flag. Many times if you log into your back office you should have that information there.

Don’t fall for the scams. Build for the long-term.

Please for the sake of your future & your dreams take the time to read “Success In 10 Steps” & download your book today!

MLM Tips – You Must Start With A Smile

February 24, 2010

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to make your life better or wanting to help yourself. But it is very important to also help other people if you want to be highly successful. You need to remember the Law of Reciprocity in network marketing.

The universal Law of Reciprocity holds that whenever we give, without expecting anything in return, we will often receive in a measure greater than our gift. In the world of Online Marketing, this principle has been proven over and over.

Which of the following types of people attract you the most?

  1. When you first meet this person he/she immediately tries to sell you on whatever program or product they’re representing;
  2. When you first meet this person he/she is genuinely interested in your activities and offers some free advice or proven suggestions that could help you succeed.

Ever hear the quote – it’s better to give than to receive?
Sure you have! It’s the Law Of Reciprocity.

The Law Of Reciprocity is a universal law that is right out of the Bible.
It says that when we give freely to others, more will come back to us, but ten fold.

In essence you “reap what you sow” or “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine”.

This law simply explains that when somebody gives you something you feel an obligation and compelled to give back.

Reciprocity isn’t always instantaneous, therefore persistence is vital. Don’t give up. At the proper time you will reap a harvest.

For many years salespeople and all types of “marketers” have used this immutable natural law to their advantage to make more sales. That’s why people in these professions tend to give you lots of free stuff.

In life and work, you get what you give.
Start with a smile. It will come back to you!

Not only will practicing the Law of Reciprocity help your network marketing business as long as you do it in a positive way, but it will also make you feel good about yourself.

Sooner or later you will find that it is absolutely true.

Wishing you abundance of success,

Ron Greenberg

The Worst Thing You Can Do For Yourself And Your Team

February 19, 2010

The more strings you have in your hammock the less likely you are to fall through.
It’s critical that we work together with the other mentors when situations come up.

  • You don’t have to figure it all out so you can do it by yourself.
  • You are ALWAYS going to need your team.
  • You never never ever want to do that to yourself!
  • The people you are going to mentor need to realize and know that you can not ever allow yourself to look like you are the only person there.
  • You must show an ACTIVE TEAM.

Yes, I can answer many of the questions, but that is not the process.
That’s Not the way we do things.
Instead, I say,” OK, let me get Sarah on the phone.” Because I don’t have to do it myself.
I’ve got other people to help me.

Even though perhaps I actually could have handled it myself, I don’t have to and you don’t have to, and more importantly, you shouldn’t want to.

What it is that you want to show is, “this is how we do it, let me get Sarah on the phone”.

Hey, I don’t have to know all the answers and now he’s thinking he doesn’t have to know all the answers. That’s very powerful for your prospect to see you do.

So we really emphasize and encourage that you to get to know one another and to be able to work with each other because that’s more strings in your net of support.

Now when you go on vacation you want to be assured that your team member that you brought in absolutely knows that they have the team, the support, and the hand-holding that they’re going to need in order to grow their business in your absence.

  • They can go to ANYBODY on the team.
  • That’s the essence of Mentoring For Free.
  • The minute that you try to do everything is the minute you’re changing the recipe.

The worst thing you can do is know everything. You never want to do that!
Not to yourself and not to your team.

Don’t get to the point where you’re telling everything. If you do then that person is looking at you and saying, “I can’t do that.”

Even when you have the answer you should still reach out and go to somebody else.
That’s the whole point of how this System is designed to work.

At the end of the day, “it’s not what you do, it’s what you duplicate.

The Key To Growing Leadership Without Creating A Welfare Mentality

February 10, 2010
Wouldn’t it make sense that you put yourself in the best possible position
to have success and do the same for everyone in your downline?

In other words, if you sponsor 6 people DO NOT place them all down 1 leg.
They will flounder. There’s no relationship building. They don’t know each other.
There’s no vested interest.

I just found out that if you put a bunch of people in someone’s downline you will only create a welfare mentality with your people. With them thinking that you are going to build them a leg. the will only sit there and want you to build them a 2nd leg. They will never do a thing!

The moment you start that kind of behavior in your organization you have created a cancer that will eat your organization alive. The attrition rate will be 100%.

The upline does not sponsor and place people underneath somebody to create that spillover effect. Then the downline does not expect it.

You are going to be responsible because of YOU.
You’re not going to fail because of me.
You’re not going to be successful because of me.

Your success is inside you.

To teach people to duplicate you must have helped them sponsor and help them to create duplication.

Here’s how it works:  The way you build a power leg with depth is to help the person that you sponsor to sponsor someone. For example: You sponsor Joe.
Joe sponsors Jim and with your help.
Joe and you help Jim to sponsor Sue.
Now Joe, Jim and you help Sue to sponsor Mary.
Then Joe, Jim, Sue, and you work together to help Mary sponsor someone.

Once you’ve got that one leg growing and duplicating in depth, that’s when you start your 2nd leg.
That means you’re going to sponsor your 2nd person. When that 2nd leg is growing and duplicating on its own, that’s when you start your 3rd leg and so on. No, you don’t abandon
your 1st or 2nd leg. You’re still available to help and work with anybody and everybody.

1234It’s all about teamwork.

The whole idea is to get to know each other, become friends, become business partners and know that together we can all succeed. Nobody will ever have to be left behind!

You need to get a PHD in Mentoring For Free and pass it on and when that happens – IT’S MAGIC!

Are You BEING ALL IN?

February 3, 2010

Why do some people fail where others succeed? Why does a professional sport’s team succeed while being the underdog? What turns modest into majestic?

Over the years many people have asked Micheal Dlouhy what allowed him to have the success he is experiencing.

Today, I am sharing with you insights from a recent interview I was listening to where one of my mentors, Michael Dlouhy, stated a very important factor between being
“ALL IN” and “trying”.

Being “ALL IN” is what it’s all about:                                                                                                                                                                           -You cannot play half a football game.                                                                                                                                                                  -You cannot read half a book and be “ALL IN”.                                                                                                                                             -Water boils at 212, not 211.                                                                                                                                                                                      -You cannot be half married.

How can you build your network marketing company not being “All IN”?
It does not work. You’ve got to be 100% in!

When you understand the 5 Pillars and you use those 5 Pillars as your blueprint to choose a company that’s going to pay your children’s children you have to be “ALL IN”.

Micheal and his wife Linda are “ALL IN”. Micheal was so determined to figure out the network marketing industry that he literally joined over 100 companies. In doing that he figured out that Business Models Drive the Behavior in the Field and that you must have the 5 Pillars in place to have success.

After that, Micheal then became a high priced consultant paid by these companies in order to figure out the inside and get a clear perspective from the corporate side of the network marketing business model.

So when you pick your network marketing company are you going to be enough of a professional to atleast read your Policies and Procedures, or do you want to risk getting a letter terminating your contract one day down the road?

Most people go about it blindly trying to build a business and don’t even know rhy05008 if their contract is 3 pages or 300 pages.

Most people do not even know their “why”, because their not all the way in.

Mentoring For Free is where you learn How To Think, not What To Think. When people become Critical Thinkers they stop becoming robots and learn HOW to question everything.

9 out of 10 people are failing in network marketing. So don’t become part of the status quo.
Learn to use the System and become the leader you were born to be.

Stop listening to the naysayers.
If you want to become a millionaire, hang around millionaires.
If you want to become an alcoholic, then hang around people that drink.

Owning Your Life has a price. It’s called work.
Work on YOU. “For you to make more you have to become more.”
You have to grow into a leader that will attract other people to you.
It’s the only way this works! You have to become of value to other people.

What we do with the Mentoring For Free System is teach people to become professional pointers. Do not make it about you. It cannot be about you. If you make it about you, you will never own your life.

The team at Mentoring For Free is “ALL IN” to do whatever we can to help you Own Your Life.

Step up to the plate and raise your hand and say, “it’s me.”dcma00072

Learn How To Bring Down The Influence Barriers

January 27, 2010

People buy from people they like.
The question is,”how do you get a salesperson to be likable”?
There are 50 years of research into that question.

Here’s some nuggets from an interview with Robert Cialdini and his book “Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion.

Cialdini puts the basic universal principles and decision triggers that influence and motivate people in the best context for on-going business.

He emphasizes the importance of taking the high-road when practicing these principles and decision triggers. An ethical approach will produce the long-term relationships we need to grow our business.

There are 3 major routes that lead to a positive connection:

1. Similarities

We like people who are like us.

The ethical way to do it is to find something that’s genuinely in common; i.e.”Oh,  you’re a golfer, me to.”  Find a real connection between the two of you a have a genuine conversation. Not only will the person like you, you’ll come to like that person.

It’s not that your client likes you that’s important, it’s when your client perceives that you really like them that’s important. That’s when the influence barriers come down.

The point is that you want people to stay with you, make themselves available to influence, and see themselves as one with you.

Find a way to like them and that’s what keeps them with you.

2. Compliments

People love flattery. Get in the habit of praising; i.e. their tie, home, lawn, children…
But even more effectively is to be genuine. Find something commendable about that person to remark on.

I use the principles of the Law of Attraction and simply look for something to appreciate. Perhaps it’s their smile, sense of humor, punctuality, passion, empathy etc. Find something admirable and give genuine praise. There is always something to appreciate when you are focused and in harmony with your goals.

Not only will that person come to like you, but you’ve found a way to like that person.
Now you’ve got the best context for on-going business.coop3

3. Cooperative Endeavours

We like the people we cooperate with toward common goals.

When two people genuinely like each other they find a way to make good things happen
.

Best Regards,

Ron Greenberg

Success In 10 Steps

The First Step To Building A Strong And Profitable Business

January 18, 2010

Keeping yourself motivated is an inside job.
George Washington didn’t look to others to help keep himself motivated.
Leadership is an inside job.

When you find your purpose it’s not really work. The key here is that as you run across obstacles and problems to remain calm.

If you’re a leader you’ll expect obstacles. There are going to be dragons.fire1
The good campfire story is that you did slay the dragon.

It’s always worth it to be the hero.

The first step in building a strong and profitable business is to understand why you’re doing this in the first place.

Carl Sandburg said, “nothing happens without first a dream.”
In other words, if we aim at nothing we will almost always hit it with amazing accuracy.

Success is not going to be easy. It’s called netWORK marketing.
Is success going to be worth it? Absolutely!!

Walt Disney dreamed of building a permanent carnival where children could play and parents could be free of worry. The park was creatively crafted to entertain people of all ages. He had amazing challenges. He risked his entire fortune and went headstrong into debt to see his dream being launched. He invented an entirely new form of entertainment; called the modern day theme park. His vision became a reality.

Henry Ford said the dreamers are typically the ones who’ve employed the people who figure out the How.

So which category do you want to be in?
Real success will require a strong WHY.

When you have a “kick-butt” WHY out in front of you, you will never, never quit.

For complete details on how to write up that WHY, read Chapter 2 in the ebook “Success In 10 Steps”, by Michael Dlouhy
